Joe Kang
Founder and CEO

Mr. Kang brings more than 12 years of successful startup experience with deep domain expertise in Internet-based new product development, SmartCard innovations, and business and strategic alliance formation. Mr. Kang innovated the SmartNetSystem platform based on his visionary understanding of the potential for applying SmartCard technology to facilitate the expansion of wireless local area networks. Additionally, he brought, what some sectors view as disparate technologies, together to form a robust portfolio of solutions in the secure payments, secure access and secure authentication markets.

Prior to founding @360, in 2001, Mr. Kang served as VP of Business Development for MonetaOne, Inc., a San Diego-based technology firm where he led the initiative that produced an innovative magnetic stripe CD-ROM with advanced online and offline commerce transaction capabilities.



Jim Butz
Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Mr. Butz brings 30+ years of experience in strategic planning, product management, marketing and customer sales and service. Prior to @360, Mr. Butz was a Principal at Resonnect, a business consulting and strategic marketing firm, where he helped clients identify and add new product lines, form strategic alliances and negotiate distribution agreements with Fortune 50 companies. He has guided CEOs in their business planning to enable growth by adding customers and when venture funding was not a viable option.

Prior to Resonnect, Mr. Butz spent over 26 years at AT&T, Bell Laboratories and Lucent Technologies. He successfully led the introduction of 100+ new telecommunications technologies and software-based solutions and products. These included many industry-first solutions requiring new sales, customer service and support processes and organizations. Mr. Butz created five-year product and market plans for the small/medium and enterprise market segments. Both plans had product lines with profitability at greater than 16 percent. The enterprise plan was used in Lucent's decision to purchase Octel Communications, their primary competitor, for $1.8B; the acquisition made Lucent the undisputed market leader with $750M+ revenues.



Dave Miller
Director of New Technologies

Mr. Miller brings expert system administration skills, as well as innovative design and programming experience honed over nine years, to the @360 team. He developed @360's web browser-enabled applications for its multiple advanced secure transaction systems including UnlimtedWashes, AutoPay21™ , and GymSystems. Additionally he developed @360's proprietary stored value platform, merchantPOSt. Mr. Miller's development expertise has also resulted in a next generation, end-to-end stored value system for affiliate programs including comprehensive tracking, billing, and reporting and real time credit card and ACH (Automated Clearing House) authorization.

Prior to @360 while at Allwebsites, Mr. Miller mastered system administration of both Cisco and Linux web servers and built template systems to standardize them. He developed a web administration system, in Perl and PHP with MySQL, for maintaining accounts and domains on multiple servers as part of his virtual private server and security contexts research and development accomplishments.

For Pearl Harbor-based, Litton PRC Inc., he served as Lead Network and Systems Administrator of Solaris and NT systems and acquired a Top Secret U. S. government clearance. Mr. Miller was a Software Engineer, for Seattle-based Caesius Software Inc. and served as technical lead for all systems and networking, including collocated UNIX servers. His accomplishments included building www.hiddenresumes.com using php and MySQL, which involved an automated system of crawling the internet for resumes, then sorting, indexing, and storing the data in MySQL. Additionally, he performed the development for www.httpgames.com.



Cynthia Trevino
Vice President of Corporate Communications

Ms. Trevino is Principal of Resonnect, a consulting and strategic marketing firm, where she uses a proprietary C3® Business Process to help small and mid-size firms to be successful. She has 25 years of experience and expertise in solving problems across all key business functions. Over the last few years she has helped her clients to identify and solve problems and realize opportunities including developing and executing market plans and preparing funding presentations. Prior to Resonnect, Ms. Trevino held a variety of diverse line and staff management roles in a broad range of strategic marketing and product management roles at AT&T, Copper Mountain Networks and other technology startup firms. She is a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record in ensuring that a company's services, products and sales channels are equipped with the right 'go to market' strategy and tools. While at Copper Mountain Networks, Ms Trevino managed the successful launch of a flagship broadband concentrator product, VantEdge™ 3000 and developed FastStartDSL™, a program that helped startup providers accelerate time-to-market for broadband services. Ms. Trevino managed service introductions at FirstWorld Communications, a startup competitive local exchange carrier, including Frame Relay, T1 and Network Integration Services-services that facilitated customer base increases of 300 percent and revenue growth of 400 percent. Ms. Trevino is active in the local technology community and is currently President of Forum for Women Entrepreneurs--San Diego.
